Principal's Message

Dear Baggett Families,

I am honored to reintroduce myself as the new principal of Baggett Elementary School. It is with great excitement and heartfelt enthusiasm that I return to this incredible school community—a place known for its strong sense of family, commitment to excellence, and unwavering dedication to student success.

You might be thinking, “Welcoming you back?” Yes, that’s right! I had the privilege of helping open Baggett as an assistant principal in 2015 and served here until 2018. Coming back feels like coming home, and I am truly grateful for the warm welcome.

With over 31 years in education as both a teacher and school leader, I bring a deep passion for creating inclusive, engaging learning environments where all children thrive. I believe in building strong partnerships with families, empowering our dedicated teachers, and supporting students not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. As a parent of two boys myself, I deeply understand the importance of a strong home-school connection and am committed to working alongside you to ensure your child’s success.

Together, we will continue the tradition of high expectations and nurture a school culture where every child is known, valued, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. You’ll often see me in classrooms, hallways, and at school events—I believe that being present and connected is essential to effective leadership.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, I look forward to getting to know each of you and working collaboratively to make this a joyful and successful school year. I am proud to be a Baggett Titan once again and look forward to continuing the strong legacy established by Mr. Mitch Green and Dr. Charlotte Sadler.
