Welcome to the Media Center

Welcome to the Baggett Elementary Media Center!  

The mission of Baggett Elementary Media Center is to provide a warm, caring, supportive environment for all students, staff, family members and community members.  All are welcome!  We strive to support the school's curriculum and instructional goals. The focus of the media team is to build collaborative relationships with the students and staff, emphasizing the use of instructional technology, and providing quality resources that encourage reading and learning. The media center strives to prepare students to become effective and efficient users of information as well as life-long learners and readers. 

Children are motivated to read and empowered to learn when they are allowed to select their own books.

Hours

The Media Center is open to students from 8:15 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. daily.  

During the week, students in grades 2nd - 5th can come to the Media Center with a pass from their teachers. Most teachers schedule to come weekly as a class.
